STORYLINE
Originally a girl, Sung Nyang now poses as a boy in order to avoid being hired as a palace maidservant. She conceals her true identity in order to exact revenge on her adversaries, but while keeping watch over Yuan crown prince To Gon, who was banished to Koryo, she becomes entangled in a conspiracy during the Yuan Dynasty. She saves To Gon by a series of detours, but after her secret as a woman is revealed, she is compelled to work as a royal maidservant. Gon was the legitimate successor to the throne, but his half-brother took it away from him and sent him to Koryo. He pretends to be stupid in order to escape being killed, but he is actually filled with intense anger and grief. After a while, he comes back to Yuan and becomes Emperor, and with the help of Sung Nyang, a royal maidservant, he becomes a dignified king and fights against those who are a threat to him.
