STORYLINE

Goo San Daek, the fabled gumiho, or nine-tailed fox, deserts her spouse after he betrays her and stops her from being able to shape change. To keep her safe, she brings Yeon Yi, her nine-year-old daughter, to a village. Yeon Yi does not yet possess the capacity to use her gumiho talents. Yeon Yi's physical shift starts as she turns ten, increasing the risk that her neighbors may find her.
